One of the many meals we went for while mum and dad were visiting was a slap up dinner at Aria Restaurant at Eagle Street Pier on the river in Brisbane. This was my first taste of fine dining in Brissy and it didn’t disappoint.
To start me and dad both had the Kingfish while mum and tim opted for the moreton bay bugs. Yum!
For main I had the smoked wagyu short rib (😍) which was unbelievably tasty, tim went for the lamb and mum and dad both had a wagyu steak. Not that I’m biased but mine was by far the best…
For dessert I had poached rhubarb with ricotta ice cream and beetroot marshmallow. Dad had a hazelnut popcorn and caramel ganache with hazelnut ice cream.
All the food was above average but my main was the real star of the show. The restaurant is beautiful with stunning views of the river and the story bridge. Recommend for a special occasion!
