Eleven Rooftop Bar

We were at a bit of a loose end this weekend, and I was very much in the humour for a long lunch in the Spring sunshine, so we thought we’d try Eleven Rooftop Bar in the heart of Fortitude Valley. We haven’t explored that much of the valley, so it seemed like a good excuse!

Up we whizzed in the lift, emerging blinking into the sunshine. As you probably gathered, Eleven is a bar and restaurant on a rooftop in Brisbane city. I never get over the novelty of anything roof-based, I’m a sucker for those views and those photos ops 😛

Unable to decide what to eat, we ordered a smorgasbord of nibbly bits to share, along with some icy cold drinks.

We shared the chorizo arancini, crispy squid with sweet chilli dipping sauce, tangy fish tacos, and a big bowl of chips just to be on the safe side! My fave was the squid, yum.

After lunch we moved to the bar area and enjoyed some more drinks perched on stools overlooking the cbd.

I loved the vibe at Eleven and we’re already planning to return soon! The food was nice but not amazing, but the ambience, decor and views more than made up for it.

Eleven is amazing isn’t it!!!!! You can spend hours up there looking out over the city. You should also try The Eagles Nest, which is the rooftop bar attached the The Point Hotel at Kangaroo Point…. they have a great Sunday session 🙂
