Sirromet Winery

We had some friends to stay recently, so we decided to take them to Sirromet winery in Mt Cotton. Me and T went previously with my parents and loved it, so any excuse for another visit!

It’s only about 30 mins drive from Brisbane, and worth the short trip. We arrived and headed straight for the cellar door to do some wine tasting – it costs $5 to taste 6 wines of your choosing, which I think is great value. T doesn’t look as impressed…

Feeling a little lightheaded, we found a nice outside table at the Tuscan Terrace restaurant for lunch. The others were very restrained and got a couple of pizzas to share. I of course was greedy and ordered the spaghetti carbonara which was totally delectable!

Fortified by the delicious wines of Sirromet, we continued into the wee hours in Brisbane.
